Freeform Combative Arts
Our main, curriculum-based course. In each level, students learn: Striking and Grappling techniques, Escaping holds and dangerous situations, Defending against armed attacks and threats (knife, blunt objects, firearms), and General Fitness.
Want to focus on a special topic? Brush up on a certain skill set? We can help! Ideal for students who have specialized goals and/or irregular schedules. Both Individual and Group options are available.
If you unfortunately find yourself in a self-defense situation you’ll be better equipped with the knowledge and skills to improve your chances of coming out on top.
Remember though, like anything you have to put in the work to get the results.
It can be fun and exciting to try something new. Not only will you learn new skills and challenge yourself, but you might develop a life-long hobby too.
Continued learning can help beat boredom, boost confidence and happiness, and keep you mentally and physically flexible.
When you first start training in something new, you might feel a bit anxious or unsure – that’s completely normal and expected.
Over time, as you learn you’ll become more confident in not only how to defend yourself but also confident in knowing you can achieve anything you put your mind to.
Joining FCA, whether in-person or via distance learning, brings people from all different backgrounds together creating new bonds and friendships.
Freeform Combative Arts (FCA) was born from the idea that there can be more than one solution to a single problem, and every body expresses that solution in their own way. With an open mind and endless learning – growth is constant.
I felt very welcome after joining the group class and now feel more confident about protecting myself if I ever had to - I also made a few new friends too!
